Peter
Judmaier
FH-Prof. DI Dr.

Peter Judmaier is an engineer for information and communication technology. His research focus is digital media design and engineering.

He studied at the Vienna University of Technology and gained his PhD in the field of eLearning in adult education.


He is also an expert in game design and worked as usability engineer and user experince designer at the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Technology and a few IT Companies. Since 2005 he teaches courses for usability at the University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten. Since 2010 he is assistant professor for the Media Technology study program.

Selected Pre-FH Projects

2008: SuLi - Internet Game for schools and youth organizations providing concepts of sustainable living. It received the ICE-Vienna media price 2009 for Games Based Learning.
2003: ECODESIGN university course - Extra occupational training for sustainable product design based on a Blended Learning concept.
2000: Myzel - Multiplayer Internet Online Community Game for developing self-organized Virtual Societies.
1996: Der Name des Bruders - 3D-Adventure Game on CD-ROM about dictatorship and resistance. Provided by austrian youth organizations and the Ars Electronica Center.
